Shannon Valenzuela, Ph.D., is the Creative Director for the Arts of Liberty Project. She earned a B.A. in English and Classics from the University of Dallas, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Literature from the University of Notre Dame. She wrote her dissertation on technologies of memory and theories of translation in the poetry of Geoffrey Chaucer. She is currently the Content Director for the Liberal Learning for Life Program and an Affiliate Assistant Professor of English at the University of Dallas. She is also a science fiction novelist and screenwriter, and she is managed by Art/Work Entertainment in Hollywood, CA. Her current research interests include Christian narrative ethics and the rise of Artificial Intelligence and its impact on storytelling.
